U.S. Attorney’s Office seeks applicants for Assistant U.S. Attorney positions in Louisiana

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Louisiana announced on May 5 that it is accepting applications for two Assistant United States Attorney positions, one in the Civil Division and another in the Criminal Division.

These vacancies are important opportunities for qualified attorneys interested in federal service within the district, which covers both Shreveport and Lafayette offices.

For the Civil Division position based in Shreveport, applicants must complete an Online Occupational Questionnaire and submit a resume, writing sample, and unofficial law school transcript through USAJOBS.GOV under Announcement Number 26-LAW-12952695-AUSA. The application deadline is May 8 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Applications will be accepted until May 18 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Both announcements specify that only complete applications received before their respective deadlines will be considered.
