Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a 20-year-old man from Terrytown on April 27 on multiple counts related to child sexual abuse material. The arrest followed an investigation that revealed the suspect used Roblox and TikTok to contact and exploit children.
According to officials, agents received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children concerning possible child sexual abuse material. A search warrant was executed at the residence of Wilhelm Daniel Molina Flores, located on Gary Ct. in Terrytown.
During questioning after being read his rights, Molina Flores admitted to trading child sexual abuse material and communicating with minors under the age of 17 in a sexual manner. He also confessed to exchanging sexually explicit images with juveniles and using various social media platforms, including TikTok and Roblox, for these activities. Investigators found additional images and videos involving victims under the age of 13 on devices belonging to Molina Flores.
The arrest was made as part of efforts by the Orleans Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, with assistance from several law enforcement agencies including St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Kenner Police Department, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Gretna Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations. “This case is another reminder that predators are using platforms like Roblox and TikTok to target children. If you exploit our kids online, we will find you and hold you accountable. Great work by all of our law enforcement partners on our Orleans Metro ICAC Task Force on this arrest,” said Attorney General Liz Murrill.
Molina Flores faces 28 counts related to possession or distribution of child sexual abuse material involving victims under age 13. Bond information is not available at this time as the investigation continues.
