Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a Lafayette man on April 16 for alleged possession of child sexual abuse material involving victims under the age of thirteen.

Warren L. Frank, age 68, who resides on Knollwood Drive in Lafayette, was taken into custody and charged with 13 counts related to child sexual abuse material under state law. The investigation began after agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The case was handled jointly by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations. Frank was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center with bond reportedly set at $100,000. Authorities said that “the investigation continues.” All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
