The Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization announced on April 2 that it is seeking interested members of the Louisiana State Bar Association to serve on the 2026-2027 Labor Law Advisory Commission.

The call for volunteers aims to encourage participation from qualified bar members in shaping labor law specialization standards and practices within the state. The commission plays a role in reviewing and advising on matters related to labor law specialization.

Members who wish to be considered are invited to visit the Specialization page, where they can review a letter from LBLS Chair Robert G. Levy outlining expectations and responsibilities. Those with questions or seeking further information are encouraged to contact Specialization Director Mary Ann Wegmann.

This opportunity provides bar association members with a chance to contribute their expertise and support the ongoing development of legal specialization in Louisiana.
