Attorney General Liz Murrill’s office announced on April 7 that the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested Liam Padraig Norris-Wilcox, age 26, for distributing child sexual abuse materials involving victims under the age of 13. Norris-Wilcox, a resident of Wilderness Drive in the Town of Boyce, Rapides Parish, was booked into the Rapides Parish Jail following his arrest.
The charges include two felony counts under Louisiana law related to distribution of child sexual abuse material involving children younger than thirteen. The investigation began after agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The case involved cooperation between the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.
According to Murrill’s office, “All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.” Bond information for Norris-Wilcox was not available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
