Judge Jerry Edwards, Jr. announced on Apr. 17 that he is accepting applications for law clerk positions for the 2027–2028 term.

The recruitment of law clerks is an important step in supporting the judicial process and providing opportunities for recent law graduates to gain experience in federal court.

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample, law school transcript, and two letters of recommendation. These materials may be submitted either through the OSCAR system or by mail to Judge Edwards at his Alexandria, Louisiana office.

This opportunity allows qualified candidates to work closely with a United States District Judge and contribute directly to legal proceedings during their clerkship term.

Interested individuals are encouraged to prepare their application materials promptly as part of this competitive selection process.
