Belinda Martin, a 51-year-old resident of New Orleans, was sentenced on February 10, 2026, for access device fraud. The sentencing took place before U.S. District Judge Darrel James Papillion. According to court records, Martin stole more than $1,000 from her employer between 2022 and 2023 by using company access device accounts in a fraudulent manner.

Martin received a sentence of five years of probation and was ordered to pay a mandatory special assessment fee of $100. In addition, she must pay restitution totaling $63,112.87.

U.S. Attorney David I. Courcelle commented on the case: “I want to praise the work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in investigating this matter.” The prosecution was led by Assistant United States Attorney Richard R. Pickens II from the Financial Crimes Unit.
