Acting United States Attorney Michael M. Simpson announced that Henry Jermaine Miller, a 41-year-old resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana, has been sentenced to 75 months in prison. The sentence includes three years of supervised release and a mandatory $100 special assessment fee. U.S. District Judge Barry W. Ashe delivered the sentence on July 17, 2025.

Miller had previously pled guilty to two counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin and methamphetamine, violating Title 21, United States Code, Sections 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(C). Court documents revealed that Miller conspired with others in the Bogalusa area to distribute various drugs such as methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl from 2021 through 2023.

Simpson commended the efforts of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bogalusa Police Department in this case. Assistant United States Attorney Stuart Theriot from the Narcotics Unit prosecuted the case.
