The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Louisiana announced on Apr. 2 that its Clerk’s office will be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday.

The closure affects public access to the Clerk’s office, but essential services will remain available. The court said that limited telephone assistance can still be accessed by calling (866) 356-5221 during the closure period.

According to the announcement, the closing will not impact users’ ability to access or use the court’s Case Management and Electronic Filing System. This means electronic filings and case management functions are expected to continue as normal despite the physical office being closed.

No additional background information was provided regarding further changes or impacts related to this closure.
